The elongated volume of the house emerges from the reflection of boundaries, with its identity found within – it draws the exterior space into the interior, much like frames of the outside. The house 'anchors' itself to the terrain through two semi-courtyards, thus establishing a continuity between the inner and outer spaces. Inspired by the rural-industrial surroundings, the furrows of the land, and the phenomenon of oil reflections, the house is enveloped in a black glazed ceramic façade. Dark and mysterious on the outside, it conceals a bright wooden perimeter on the inside.
