Located at 53 Vladimira Nazora Street in Zagreb, the building was designed in 1941 by architect Stjepan Planić. Although not individually protected as a cultural asset, it is situated within the city’s designated protected historic urban area. Following years of neglect and damage sustained during the 2020 earthquakes, the building is being redeveloped as a multifunctional facility for the Croatian Institute of Public Health. The project includes comprehensive structural renovation, restoration of the façades, roof, and staircases, complete replacement of all installatons, and interior adaptations in accordance with contemporary functional standards.
