Transport, storage and loading of coke in an enclosed conveyor belt system is part of the Rijeka Oil Refinery facility. The location, dimensions and design of buildings and infrastructure are defined by the technological process, the spatial possibilities on the embankment at the port and strong environmental protection measures. The building for employees and the transport system “hovering” above the plant are shaped as oval cross-section tubes, reducing the impact of wind.
